Meghan Markle is not slowing down, despite her ever-growing pregnancy bump. After taking to the stage at last Monday’s Fashion Awards to present Claire Waight Keller with the womenswear designer of the year award, the Duchess of Sussex was back in the spotlight earlier today in Twickenham, England to visit the Royal Variety Charity’s at Brinsworth House. For today’s outing, the Duchess selected a dress by CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Brock Collection, topped off with a tailored coat by Soia & Kyo.
It’s worth noting that the Duchess has history with the Fashion Fund—in 2015, Markle joined friend (and then-finalist) Misha Nonoo at the gala dinner, and she wore a sky blue shirtdress from 2017 finalists Veronica Beard while on her tour of Australia and Fiji. Today’s ensemble was all feminine dress for Markle’s bump. Where sister-in-law Kate Middleton recently swapped out micro florals for polka dots, Markle amped up the effect with an envelope clutch that was a cool alternative to the traditional box clutches. Suede bow-trimmed slingbacks were a kicky, yet equally polished choice and created an elongating effect.
